Sweet wine notes with honey finish on the nose. Sharp tart notes on the tongue that melt into a slight whiskey bite. Very similar to a whiskey sour.

Clear golden with a thin ring of white foam around the edge of the glass. Aroma is boozy yet floral--getting some whiskey notes with charred oak as well as some sticky honey and something like juniper berries. Flavor is delightfully sweet with a strong honey tone followed by some sweet whiskey notes, some vanilla-twinged oak staves, a bit of fresh-picked wildflowers, and sweet lemon zest. Pretty dang lovely and complex.

Very candy-sweet honey nose, a bit winey too. THe color is a pond-water murkey brown. It is intensely sweet and honey dominated (obviously) with a bit of a walnut finish. I recommend drinking a small glass! :) Notes: On tap at the Pints for Prostates/Denver Rare Beer Tasting at Wynkoop Brewing Co, 2009 Great American Beer Fest

On Tap at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting, Wynkoop Brewery 25/09/2009 Big bourbon aroma. Dark coloured smooth and sweet on the palate and strong in alcohol with a little dryness in a sweet warming malt finish.
