2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The odor was a little hops and a little Belgian. Amber color with minimal head and no lacing. Belgian yeast comes forward with a slight hops bitterness. Average mouthfeel with average carbonation. Easy to drink with food without wrecking the palate.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had the wet hopped version, around the 2015 gabf at Wynkoop, on draft .. . Gold, hazy .. Strong foam .. . Pale malts, grass, resin, wet grass .. Mild mouth .. Feels good, medium carb, easy grassy finish .. Yeast plays a smaller part, mild yest sweetness .. . . That referee looks like someone licked a glazed donut

Pours a light gold with white head. A light citrus hop, grain and pine aroma. A yeasty and citrus hop taste with grains and pine. A dry yeast and citrus aftertaste.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewery in Denver, it’s got a great name: Belgorado 6.7%
Clean gold in color topped with a thick white head from which a wheaty saison like aroma rises. The taste is very bitter with a big punch of floral hops. A clean belgian style IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewery, 11/21/15
It has that Belgian yeast aroma, with some clove / spice to go along with some clean grassy and herbal type hops and some fruity hops as well. Flavor is along the same lines. I thought this was pretty drinkable, though not a top example of a Belgian-style IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Served on tap at Wynkoop. Golden color with an off white head. Tropical fruit and hops aroma. Medium body. Lot of fruit flavor with a little hops at end. Easy drinking but needs a little more bite.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Samled at Wynkoop. Darker golden. This was one of the sampler that we shared and it was sub-par. Hops had a nice bitter bite but some odd stuff there, too.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From my dear brother: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is that of a yeasty Belgian ale. Taste is sweet and piny. Very mellow. Not that bitter. Not that exciting. Not a bad beer, but there is not much to write home about.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at brewery October 01, 2014. Appearance: 2 fingers white head, great lacing, pale straw color, clear, good lacing. Aroma: pine, light floral, light caramel. Palate: light body, average carbonation, bitter finish. Taste: light sweetness, into a very heavy pine bitterness finish. I usually do not like heavy pine finishes, but this one is not overwhelming.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewpub. Interesting ... wouldn’t even put the words "IPA" on this one. More in the vein of a light tripel or saison. Golden, hazy, a good blend of beers, but I’d put this squarely in the saison lane, with a hop kick. Not unlike Victory Golden Monkey, but not quite. (#5642, 8/24/2014)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
December 22nd, 2012 - Wynkoop’s Belgorado glows on this gray Colorado day, an autumnal mix of golds, browns and oranges, with a cloud white head, reaching ambitiously even as it sits in a diminutive sampler glass. A distinctive aroma of hops hits the nose first, and then settles to reveal the hops in greater resolution: skunky, and a little stinky, though not skunked - more of a gourmet cheese sort of smell. Phenols play with the hops in the flavor, giving off a nice bitterness, chased with cotton candy sweetness, and a general feeling of a Belgian Pale Ale; this is a surprisingly rare style to find around Colorado, but nice to find it where it’s served, including here at Wynkoop.
