3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very OK. Roasted and chocolate notes for the aroma. Nice dark chocolate color with a small milky head. Creamy palate with little to no carbonation since this was a nitro. Cool roasted malts with a milk chocolate essence. I didn’t detect the coffee noted on the brewery’s description. Not overly sweet. The best for what the brewery’s menu had to offer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
i want to write a normal review but i can’t for the mere fact that this beer is named Cowtown. A brewery actually has a beer named Cowtown. This is too delicious. The absurdity of it. Good Brown ale though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the brewery, 11/21/15
Dark brown pour. Chocolate, coffee, and a bit of lactose come through in the aroma and flavor. A bit sweet with a nice roasty flavor. Nice, solidly made milk stout.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at brewery October 01, 2014. Appearance: finger brown head, dark brown color, head lasts. Aroma: light floral hops, roast molasses, licorice, oats. Palate: full body, soft and creamy carbonation, light bitter finish. Taste: overwhelming molasses sweetness throughout, light chocolate hidden underneath. Overall, rather under impressed with this beer, cloying sweet and tastes that are not my favorite.

On nitro tap at Wynkoop. Almost black appearance with a frothy cream colored head and thick lacing. Aroma and flavor of milk sugar, milk chocolate, coffee and light roasty malts. Light body, a little thin. Not bad!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma has some heavy chocolate and roasted malt notes. The flavor is more of the same but there is a lot of very sweet lactose notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Some other reviewer puts it best when he says it's "fairly dull." My palate might be shot from drinking a much fuller, tastier stout prior to this. Wynkoop hasn't made a bad beer, there's just a lot that fall into the 'better' category, especially among milk stouts.
