Creamy palate with little to no carbonation since this was a nitro. Cool roasted malts with a milk chocolate essence. I didn’t detect the coffee noted on the brewery’s description. Not overly sweet. The best for what the brewery’s menu had to offer.

Tap at Vine Street. Pours clear black with dark brown highlights and a small, fizzy tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is sweet chocolate malt, lactose, dates and plum esters. Flavor is sweet dark malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, dark fruity esters and a sweet finish. Medium-light body and light carbonation.

Dark pour, small head. Sweet chocolate, mild smokiness (?) And some lactic notes. A little fruity. A bit weak and watery, or else this would have been really good.

Clear very dark brown color, light brown head. Sweet, lactic, roasted, malty taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet malty scent.

On draft at Wynkoop. Pours a light porter-esque brown with an off-white head. Nose is some roast, light lactose, and cocoa. Flavor is similar with slight roast, light lactose, and mild coffee. Light to medium in body for the style.

Really lovely creamy stout. Full flavor, without too heavy of a body. Dark color, really drinkable. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a deep brown body and a creamy tan head. Aromas of milk sugar, roast, coffee and light smoke. Flavors of milk chocolate, roast and light smoke. Very creamy mouthfeel, very light carbonation.

On tap at brewery. Poured an opaque black color, with a thick, dense, tan, creamy head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee. Creamy and light bodied, sweet, with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee.
