On tap at rackhouse rare beer tasting, poured dark reddish with off white pinkish head, aroma was full of big raspberry, some funk, tart lemon notes, going into some biscuit and bread notes. Taste is big, sweet raspberry with a touch of tart lemon notes, finishing fairly sweet and bready as well. Nicely done.

Crushed at Fallng Rock with Honkeybra. Decent. Lots of raspberry on the nose with a nice tartness to it. Flavor is aight but a bit muddy. Not incredible but I kinda dig it.

On tap. Pours a cloudy garnet color with white head that disappears quickly. Big raspberry aroma. Mellow on the palate. Semi-sweet with a tart finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Loved this one. Total raspberry aroma was intense. The wave of raspberry flavor washes over your tongue in a big way. Medium in body. Great lacing to a visually beautiful dark brown beer. I thought this was simply awesome.

Tap @ Wynkoop: Poured a hazy purple color with a pink head. The aroma had big raspberry notes. Very fruity with a hint of tartness... The flavor was lightly tart and fruity. Raspberry and tannic fruit skins.

I haven’t rated many lambics but this one came across as pretty good. Sour up front but then that flavor subsides and the tart raspberry flavor comes through. A nice beer, especially for breakfast.
