Draft at Wynkoop. Pours a pale, slightly hazed gold with a fluffy white head. The nose is definitely of chilies. Quite green in the nose with some faint smoke. Pretty clean fermentation profile. On tasting, soft heat that is restrained. Plenty of green notes but pretty flat on the palate overall, lacking in malt character. Meh.

On tap at brewery. Poured a clear light copper color with a small white head. The smell is very pronounced with fresh chile spice. The taste of fresh chiles, though not overly spicy, more of a woody or earthy flavor. Had a good bready maltiness in the background and a very moddest hoppiness. The chilli flavor lingers ligthly on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy and peppery with medium body and moderate carbonation.

Pours golden with good effervesence & light lacing. Aroma is very light, palate is clean & crisp with papper flavor in the back but no heat. Mild.

More of a green pepper flavor throughout as opposed to a hot chile - not much heat, and quite a bit of vegetable flavor. I kinda liked it, though. Subtle sweet, lightly caramel flavors in the background.

This is a lighter beer with a little bit of spice at the end. A beer that sounds weird but definitely worth trying.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of spicy chiles and tortilla. Flavor of a spicy chile kick initially followed by tortilla/bready malt and then more spices and heat in the finish. Hot certainly, but not too hot, and pretty tasty. 7/4/8/4/14 [3.7/5]

On tap at Wynkoop Brewery. Pours light amber with slight haze, and a light fluffy ivory head. Very faint aroma of freshly chopped jalapeño, with a light touch of sweet malt. Taste is great and well what I expected. Heavy green chili burst without heat or spice, and behind it was some mild pale ale with not much bitterness or sweetness. Delicious and unique, just not mind blowing.

Tasted at the Wynkoop Brewery in Denver, Colorado. Amber appearance with a hot pepper dominated aroma. Not too spicy but the flavor is dominated by the peppers.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber. Veg aroma. Chili - ancho?- flavor. Nice light beer with a bite. One of the better chili beers IMHO.
