Smells like someone dropped pickled jalapenos in my beer...not really an aroma I prefer from my beer. Golden in color with little white head. Tastes like a golden ale with slight hot finish; not as bad as it smells.

Can. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is of spicy peppers, green peppers, earthy. Taste is very hot pepper but no heat, lingering pepper finish, light body, a bit flat. Good.

Pours a classic golden color with a short white cap perpetually fed by carbination bubbles from the bottom. Big chile nose. Wet, but mildly astringent. Some carbonation burn. Chile flavors and that’s about all. But that’s fine with me. Love chile beers.

Slightly hazy, thin head, big chile aroma, fresh anaheim mostly. Green-tasting, fresh and balanced with just a touch of earthy ancho. Maybe some diacetyl kicking up late.

12oz can, brought to me by a co-worker who frequents Colorado. Poured a dark fizzy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was some light chile notes, smells like other chile beers. Flavor is roasted and smoked pepper, but there’s no heat at all in this one. Quite flavorful and enjoyable for people who like chilies and beer.

12 oz can from Evergreen Discount. Gold and hazy with a white head and light lacing. Strong aroma of spicy hot chile peppers. Flavor is mild to medium heat with a light body.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden yellow with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is fresh chile peppers (Anaheim?).

The flavor is some sweet malts with chile flavor. It’s got a little heat but is pretty mild. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a solid mild chile beer. Good flavor, but not a lot of heat.

On tap @ Wynkoop. Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is really heavy on the spicy chili pepper and green pepper. Light grass, some mild malt sweetness, and a hint of fruit. Flavors of green pepper, chili heat, and some grass. A light malt sweetness and some earth. Pretty light flavor.

Not my cup of tea (or beer), but I did enjoy it. I do not like spicy beer so i was weary to try this. I was pleasantly surprised! Pours a golden color with white head. Aroma is all Green Chilies with some hay/barn yard smell. Taste is all green chilies in the front and slightly sweet hay taste in the back. The green chile taste disappears too fast on the palette. I would like to have had the green chile taste all the way through. No spice at all which is great for me. great food pairing beer.
