3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Wynkoop: Poured a clear amber color with golden highlights. Hop forward aroma. Grapefruit and citrus with some floral notes. The malty flavor was infused with a fair amount of citrus hop. The malt was short with a crisp bitterness. Light bodied and light carbonation. I liked this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very smooth body is the one noticable thing about this beer. Otherwise the flavors and aromas were pretty mild and unmemorable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Wynkoop. Dark copper. Nose is malty with hops and fruit notes. Taste is more hops, sweet malts, fruit, light spiciness and a soft nuttiness as well. Body is medium with mild carbonation but feels rather juicy on the palate. Ends with more malts, light fruit and less hop spiciness.

Nice stiff cappucino head, larger bubbles than most in the head. Deep dark ruby brown color. Very sweet malts. Flavor and palate were too watery. Sweet, sugary, malty, nice, but watery. Som esmall hop bite in the aftertaste, and more as it warmed. Good beer, but just too watery.

Draught at the brewpub. Attractive clear garnet color with white head that laced the glass. Smelled of sprucy hops and a touch of fall leaves. Any ESB, including this one, gets bonus points from me when the carbonation is on the low end. Subdued malty roast and caramel notes with a hint of plum and a distinct bitter hop finish.
