Clear light straw hue with no head. Aroma is semi sweet with champagne yeast and apple skin. Flavor is crisp and mild, full of apples but not overly sweet nor dry. Crisp and apple-y.

On tap at the brewery in Denver, colorado. Very, very hazy yellow/yellow/orange appearance that really looks like a Belgian Witbier. Delicious toasted apple aroma. Thick apple juice-like body. Smooth and not wine-like as most ciders are. Quite thick apple body- I think it has more pulp than a typical cider. Pretty good cider.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow-white with a big white head. This is extremely dry but still retains a medium apple flavor. Crisp and delicious.

On Tap at the Wynkoop Brewery, Denver 07/10/2008 Some fruit aroma. Light golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance. Slightly sour fruit flavour with a dry finish.

Dogbrick (8145) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. Pours like lemonade with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Apple cider aroma. Light-bodied and bubbly on the tongue with a lightly tart apple flavor along with touches of spices and yeast. The finish is tart and fruity with an apple aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draught at the brewery. Cider is murky pale yellow with a tiny, white, frothy, mostly diminishing head.
The aroma contains moderate apple, light pear, moderate lemon zest, light-to-moderate notes of mineral/wet rock/vitamin B.
The flavor is lightly-to-moderately sweet, lightly acidic with an average-length, bready, light-to-moderately sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Solidly inoffensive.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow color with disappearing white head. Smelled of apple cider and a touch of vinegar. Acidic and tart on the tongue again with apple flavor and a subdued vinegar note. Crisp finish with a pleasant lingering sweetness.

This was like drinking a chilled and acloholic version of apple cider that you find over the holidays. Rich, and bittering on the palate, with some flavors that runs the gamut, of spicy, to bitter, to sweet and dry all over the course of one pint. Great lively acidity, with some nice cinnamon spiciness, fresh fruit from the apples and just a hint of honey sweetness. A truly great cider.

Ernest (6223) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2005
Draught, Wynkoop. Head is fully diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly yeasty (barnyard, cobwebs), with notes of apple and honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A surprisingly good cider, and probably the best thing they make (the only thing I’d consider drinking a pint of, let’s put it that way).
