3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A Mes rate: cask at the Ranelagh in Bounds Green.
Pale gold with a thin, very white head and well conditioned. Fruity aroma with a hint of chlorine. Fruity hop flavour with some tea like notes that is never my thing if I’m honest. A little on the green side all round really. Delicate bitterness on the finish. Spectacularly average.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a white head. Sweet rather wheaty aroma and taste with a little fruit. Brisk mid bitter finish. Very unexpected,

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at the Old Mitre, Holborn.
Pale beer, small head. Malt and grain, slowly opens up to reveal a fine dry and dusty hoppiness. A nice little beer.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Amber with white head. A decent juicy bitter, quite dry with a peachy note in the background. Decent hop impact on a light body. Good quaffing bitter.
