3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of Dallas, pouring mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with malts and molasses and then rolling into light smokiness and a touch of pork and then sort of a dusty yeasty spice note. The taste has bold caramel, black strap molasses, charred caramel and some burnt notes that are encircled by bacony dried pork. Into the finish near ashy burnt notes meld with a sense of spicy yeast. This is a bold complex brew that taste very well blended and harmonious. Nice experience.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
16 + ounce bottle from The Wine and Cheese Place. A black beer that has a nice fluffy tan head that very slowly fades. I smell light cocoa with smoke and nuts in the pleasant aroma. Chocolate is the first thing tasted and it is like fudge. After that I taste earthy hops that also add fruit and a bit of bitterness. Molasses is tasted. This is sweet and nicely complex. Hops grow with warming. If you don’t like this beer then wait a while and the flavor will change. The feel is very creamy and smooth. Sweeter beers are in my wheelhouse and this definitely qualifies. Well done. It is almost Presidential!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: dark chocolate, roasty coffee, hint of smoke
Appearance: Dark brown to black, hazy. Small beige head, disapears fast.
Taste: More of the roasty malt with a coffe touch. Dark chocolate.
Palate: Heavy body, feels very thick and creamy (In the beginning I felt I could drink this with a spoon), low carbo. Long medium-heavy bitter in the end.
Overall: A very tasteful and heavy stout. On the edge of becomming too bitter in the end, could be just little bit more balanced, but overall a beer that tastes as good as when you open the bottle as after an hour in the glass.

Bottle thanks to big-D. Pours a black color with a medium beige head. The aroma is sweet Belgian malts and smoke, some rich malt and fruit. A very interesting flavor of burnt fat, heavy roast, some heavy smoke but more meaty, some chocolate. Slightly thin. Odd but very nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black with a short off-white head. Aroma is malty with lots of roasted and fruity notes - most prominent caramel, toast, a little smoke, licorice and grapefruity hops. Taste is medium sweet with a quite bitter, dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Black ofc, with a frothy off white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is dominated by smoke and ashes. Some sourness from the smoke, which also comes off as kind of berry like. Some dark fruits, but they are pretty subtle. Also some alcohol. Flavour is massively peaty, pretty salty, and finishes very dry. As it warms some chocolate comes into it. Fairly extreme on the smoke, but I dig it. Medium bodied,
