English: A very smooth version of Xbeeriment Black Force One with complex notes of maple syrup and oranges from the Bourbon blending in with the roastiness and hoppiness of the imperial stout. An extremely complex beer. Only 375 bottles made.

Bottle, sample. Black with a light brown head. Aroma: bourbon, toffee, vanilla, chocolate, licorice. Taste: chocolate liqueur, salty licorice, toffee, vanilla, a slight dose of bourbon, coffee, medium bitter. Full-bodied, above medium carbonation. Best beer I’ve had in a while.

Picked up at Randall's in St. Louis. Pours pitch black. Lots and lots of oak. Also caramel burnt toast and roasted coffee. Nice bit a bit over the top.

Another gem that someone opened at my birthday tasting in San Diego. Black pour, brown head. Loads of bourbon, vanill and chocolate in the nose. Great fudge, bourbon, vanilla and oka in the flavor...llight roasty finish. Nice!

Bottle. Opaque, black liquid with tan head. Aroma of vanilla, bourbon, coffee, chocolate. Really balanced. Light sweet taste with medium bitterness and lots of coffee and bourbon. Really good, thick body. Great, balanced beer. Can’t believe it’s not rated higher.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Bottle No. 49 out of 374 made. 10.4% ABV, 98 IBU. Pitch black colour, large to moderate tan head. Lovely aroma of bourbon cask, vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Excellent flavour, same elements as the aroma, but even more harmonious and well balanced.

Bottle share at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. Smoked malts with big, busty bourbon on the nose, even some soy sauce. Taste is bourbon, Islay whiskey, roasted grains, All Beasts Come Out At Night. Huge Standout!
