COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: From 2009 - 2012 this beer was brewed at Amager Bryghus. Starting from the summer of 2012 it will be brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

English: Our basic idea with this beer originated while making Xbeeriment Barack. When we’d done that we thought "What if we took it further?" So we decided to go for it and create an Imperial Stout made with 5 different kinds of malt including substantial amounts of peat smoked malt, roasted barley and 3 different hop varieties. We then added a 4th variety for dry hopping. Finally it was bottled unfiltered, bottle conditioned and left to mature in the bottle for 2 months before release. Serve at 12-14 degrees Celcius (53-57 degrees Fahrenheit).

Nice deep dark stout, so pretty. Hop tongue, profile something between floral and resin notes, very nicely balanced. Great coffee body, dark roast smoked malts and espresso.

500 ml bottle from Randall’s. Pours an opaque dark brown with a big, rocky, khaki head that laces the glass. Aroma of earthy hops, chocolate, graham crackers, grass, peat, and rye. Flavor of dark chocolate, grass, earth, brownies, and light smoke. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mellow, smooth, sweet, roasty, and eventually bitter mouthfeel. Good imperial stout.

Bottle from a store in Copenhagen. It poured a pitch black liquid with a small brown head. Smell and taste of chocolate, milk chocolate to be exact and coffee. Fairly high residual sweetness. A very nice Imp stout, easy to drink despite the strong flavour.

500ml bottle shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Opaque black, decent tan frothy lasting head. Resin deep roast aroma, quite bitter, a bit boozy. Taste follows, smoky, hint of soya sauce. I like it, not sure what it is. Bitter and malty.
