COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: From 2010 - 2012 this beer was brewed at Amager Bryghus. From the summer of 2012 it will be brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

An Imperial IPA made with Marris Otter pale malt, 3 different hop varieties from 3 different parts of the world, fermented fairly dry.... The result; a nuclear meltdown of hops!

Bottle from BarleyWine Copenhagen - amber colour with puffy white head. Strong citrus and caramel malt, floral and herbal notes slightly boozy but hides the abv well. Great stuff this.

These European DIPAs are always interesting. This one pours with a nice copper color with minimal head and aroma. Taste is sweet -- peach maybe -- overlaying a pretty gold malt base. The hops seem to come in at the backend, imparting a lingering bitterness. Just goes to show that regionally there can be quite a variety in the same style -- I enjoyed this, but those expecting a hop bomb or a West Coast DIPA will be disappointed. Very drinkable, though, and hides its ABV exceedingly well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

08-MAR-2013. Bottle @home, from Ølbutikken. Slightly hazy orange with the most beautiful creamy lacing lasting white head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Over ripe fruits. Sweet bisquit’y malt. Tastethe same. Very fruity. Even A touch of butter? Caramel. Sweetness. Not all that citric or resin’y. Perhaps not fresh? Best before 13-10-2013. Do not know what that is in terms of freshness? OK IIPA.

Good complexion with the hops as the dominant factor. Enjoyable mostly after a couple of pints. Pineyness is held to a minimum and a more full mouth bitterness is more apparent. Head is sustained very well and has reasonable to strong lazing. A late session delight.
