COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: From 2010 - 2012 this beer was brewed at Amager Bryghus. From the summer of 2012 it will be brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

An Imperial IPA made with Marris Otter pale malt, 3 different hop varieties from 3 different parts of the world, fermented fairly dry.... The result; a nuclear meltdown of hops!

Bottle: pours opaque apricot orange, minimal cream ring. Fair amount of bubbly carbonation. Nose- earth, herbal, dank weed, fresh, pear, tropical fruit. Flavors are clean, herbal malt, dough, citrus hops. Fairly bitter, dry finish. Spicy heat letting you know the alcohol is there but it's not overbearing. I find this quite good and balanced ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500mL bottle. Gold color. White head. Heavy hop aroma. Loads of pot smell, citrus, and pine. Very strong, high alcohol flavor. Sweet malts, loads of hop flavor. A very good American Imperial IPA. (3309)

On draft at the Nook @ Dunedin Brewery. Pours a deep caramel amber with a white head. Nose is lots of caramel, a big shot of citrus that seems to compliment the malt profile well along with some alcohol burn. Flavor is similar to nose with the hops playing well with the malt profile and an enjoyable sipper of an IPA at almost 10%.

Was hoping for a little more oomph to this one. Aroma was a little funky. The beer was quite thin. Decent amount of bitterness but more on scale with a regular IPA to my tastebuds.
