Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate yeasty, oak, fruity, grape - wine, light alcohol, peppery - ceder notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120511]

From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is spicedand dry wheaty. Light herbal, spiced and dry peppery. Smooth and grassy finish.

Draft @ CBC 2012. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty vinous spicy aroma. Fruity malty slightly woody spicy flavor. Has a fruity malt spicy yeasty woody finish.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration, 2012. Pours cloudy yellow with a small creamy white head. Nose is vinous. Yeast and oak. White wine and alcohol. Fruity.

Draught at Bryggens Ølbar. Clear yellow - white head. Angry powerfull barrel aroma. Fresh fruity- Light honey taste. Light oxidation notes. Wooden. Herbal. Grape fruitiness. Light sweetness. Some glue from 2 years in the barrel. Flowery notes. Acid fruity. Fresh green nuts. Power. Nice.

Draught at CBC 2012. Clear golden/amber - white head. Freshness, sweetness, nice grape notes, minerals, sherry, fruity, wooden notes, sweet aroma, dry finish. Very high drinkability.

On tap at CBC, Copenhagen. Light haze on this gold beer, little off white head. Palate is crisp and dry. Minerals. Emulsion paint. A nice amount of sweet dessert wine but the that paint flavour, that sometimes happens with barrels, is a little too dominant. Very dry crisp finish. An interesting beer that could have been great.

Pours hazy pale yellow with a small, creamy, off-white film head. Aroma has plenty of grapes, white wine, oak and zesty apples. Medium carbonation, dry and fairly creamy palate. Flavour has lots of oak, sweet sticky malts, light herbal honey character to it, some oregano. Kinda sharp and unbalanced.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Hazy golden with a big and lasting firm white head. Herbal and spicy aroma with fruity notes and distinct oak. Sweetish spicy and fruity flavour with a strong oak note, white wine character and a tannin drying finish

Craft courtesy of staff I forgot to ask about the nMe, oh well. Bright golden color, medium white head. Aroma of white wine, sherry, tropical fruits, medicine. Taste is creamsicle and sourdough bread. Very odd but interesting.
