COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Xbeeriments bud på en IPA, hvor der er brugt Chinook som bitterhumle og Nelson Sauvin som aroma.

English: It took 2 years before we finally decided to make an IPA. To us an IPA should obviously have great hop character backed up by an interesting malt flavour and should by all means be dry, so that one can actually down a pint and order the next one right away. The hop varieties used are Chinook for bittering and Nelson Sauvin for flavour and aroma.

22oz bottle-shared by jtclockwork @Small Tasting at my place-pours gold with an offwhite head. Aroma is fruity husk/skin, 2nd medium malt. Taste is hebal/fruity husk/skin hops, 2nd medium malt-some caramel.

Pours a clear yellow-green with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit and lots of honey. The honey in this smells wonderful. Taste is very disappointing; bitter orange, caramel and general citrus. Oily mouthfeel. Was hoping for more.

Sparkling and quite bitter. Sharp at first and then it melts into the Nelson Sauvin. Kind of grape soda instead of raw grape taste though. Seemed like two different IPAs in one glass.

Taste: skunky, fruity, bread, grape
Overall: I feel that the beer I had was not a good example. I would be willing to try another bottle and compare it to this one.

A tasty IPA, the nelson sauvin hops give it a white wine fruitiness. However other versions of these hops have been better tasting. Still very good and good mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Hazy orange with lasting off white head.

(500ml bottle) Pours a cloudy orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, grain, caramel, and orange. Flavor of caramel, grass, pine, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.

Bottle from West Lakeview Liquor in Chicago. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy/bubbly off-white head. Smells like peaches. With a little biscuit. And some florality. Med body. Flavor is floral/peach with some nice smooth caramel. But this is bitter. Having just done Kats Pis, I am overwhelmed with Nelson. But the fruitiness stays to the finish. Really bitter. Brilliant.
