COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Xbeeriments bud på en IPA, hvor der er brugt Chinook som bitterhumle og Nelson Sauvin som aroma.

English: It took 2 years before we finally decided to make an IPA. To us an IPA should obviously have great hop character backed up by an interesting malt flavour and should by all means be dry, so that one can actually down a pint and order the next one right away. The hop varieties used are Chinook for bittering and Nelson Sauvin for flavour and aroma. NOTE: From 2010 - 2012 this beer was brewed at Amager Bryghus. From the summer of 2012 it will be brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

Tap @ CBF, 2010.
Pours hazy yellow-golden with a medium, creamy, off-white head. Soft fruity hops aroma, light yeast, apple, apricot and piney. High carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour has light yeast and slight cardboard. Soft graininess. Pleasant piney bitterness. Long, lingering bitterness. Quite nice, but doesn’t feel crisp enough.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and minimally resinous hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit and orange, caramel malty basis. Taste is biting bitter hoppy, fruity, minimally tart, notes of grapefruit, some bitter orange, some resin. Very concentrated, slightly monotonous.

Eructoblaster (3103) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 12, 2014
Bottle - 500ml. Beautiful hazy golden/orange body with a thick off-white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with orange, yeasty, and malty hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy, herbal, malty, and some woody notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Very good example of IPA.

Metalchopz (2401) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 27, 2014
Private SAQ import. Pours a cloudy golden-amber colour with a great white, creamy-foamy head, great retention and lots of thick soapy lacing and sediments. Smells hoppy at first, with some dark grass, but then the grainy malts appear, adding caramel notes, honey and oranges. The hop is bitter in the taste, but not too overpowering, with hints of oranges. Was not a fan of the hop aromas at first, but this beer is quite drinkable and well-balanced.

Caramel and fruit aroma. Toffee coloured with small circle foam. Taste of caramel and some grapefruit too. Good stuff. Easy to drink.

Franzen (352) - SWEDEN - JAN 25, 2014
A bit sweet fruity aroma, not hoppy at all, maybe it is to old? Dark hazy orange with thin white head
Sweet fruits in the taste as well and maybe some peat and sulphur, the bitterness is very subtle
light to medium body average carbonation with dry texture
Maybe it is to old

500 ml bottle. Rated on 28.11.2013.
Pours a cloudy orange colour with a white small head. Aroma of herbs, orange, biscuit and mild caramel. Flavour of sweet caramel, weak metallic notes, biscuit, juicy orange and tangy grapefruit. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and a dry, bitter, very fruity finish. Doesn’t feel very fresh, but still a decent IPA.
