COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: En højoktans version af en flamsk sour ale. Lagret et år før frigivelsen her på festivallen. Et af Xbeeriments yndlingsbryggerier i Belgien, De Dolle Brouwers, grundlagde deres fantastiske karriere med gær lånt fra et større bryggeri i Roeselare. Vi hylder derfor De Dolles gale og geniale brygger, Kris Herteleer, ved at låne gær fra samme bryggeri til denne øl.

English: An imperial version of a Flemish Sour aged for one year before release. One of Xbeeriments favourite breweries, De Dolle Brouwers, started their career with yeast obtained from another great brewery in Roeselare. Xbeeriment pay our respect and tributes to De Dolles fantastic, mad and genius brewmaster, Kris Herteleer, by using yeast from the same brewery to create this beer.

Aroma is moderate yeasty, has some acid, some sweetness and light sulfur. Crisp. Flavor is nice, moderate sweet and acidic, light bitter too. Dry texture and soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy orange body with diminishing off-white head. Aroma is sour berries, Brett and wood, quite intense aroma. Flavor is refreshing, sour fruity, acidic and light funky. The flavor is less intense than aroma, almost weak, but very nice. I really enjoyed this one.

Draft @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty tart aroma. Fruity malty sour tart flavor. Has a dry sour finish.

Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy almost orange color. Aroma is citrus, fruity, mild cherry, vinous, Brett, wood. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated acidic and sweet flavor. Lingering wood and acidic fruity finish.

A Mes rate. Draught at Københavns Ølfestival 2010.
Hazy orange maber coloured with a thin but lasting frothy white head and plenty of lace. Lots of entertaining wood and sour fruity notes. Really good brett and some tarty acidity at the edges. Good fruity and yeasty finish. Not the most complex Flemish sour I’ve had but an enjoyable one all the same. I was pretty much sold right from the start to be honest. Anyone who loves De Dolle is alright with me.

On tap. Pours an opaque dark amber with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Very weird and unpleasant rubbery nose. Medium-bodied, sweet’n’tart fruitiness again with these skewed rubbery notes. Lactic finish with a weird biscuity touch. Not so good - I wonder what went wrong here. 080510

KØ10. Good citric aroma, cherry. Muddy red orange colour. Small head. The flavour is fruity, mild acetic note. A little earthy.

Draught @ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2010, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.

Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy sweet toffee, acidic fruity - berry, brett, rubber - smoke. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, rubber, medicine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100508]
