Nearly black in color with a thin white head. Aroma is obviously chocolate with a hint of plum. Taste is a little watery with hints of caramel and chocolate. A refreshing beer to eat with steak. Not too complex, but not poorly made either despite it’s molson/coors connection.

Sampled at Broudy’s Beerfest 9/03/05 and bought a sixpack to bring home. Pours clear dark brown , almost black, with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet malt and coffee. Starts out sweet malt, with some tartness and cola feel, dries out just a bit with a faint bitterness at the finish. A little thin, but tasty and pleasant. I like the flavor. Very nice.

Interesting. The aroma is sweet with a toast and floral hop smell. Appearance is dark brown with a so-so head. Flavor is almost candy like. I would swear there is chocolate, licorice, and toffee in this one. Light bitterness in the finish. I like it but it falls a little flat near then end. This would be great if it was a little thicker in texture.

Not too bad. I was expecting some nasty pale lager when my roommate told me it’s main selling point was that it’s "Imported from exotic Brazil." But this beer actually has some solid malt character, and some hops to back it up. Kind of a watery finish, and a little flat on the palate; but not a bad beer.

Smells sweet some roasted coffee. Very dark with a dark brown head. Very similar to a porter or stout but feels very light. Great flavor.

Very dark (opaque) with light brown head. Head dissipates quickly. Smells sweet and a little like coffee. Taste fairly weak, and feels somewhat watery on the palate. Lacks strong finish.

Bottle- rich aroma, grapey like welches. smooth clean flavor, fruity, not really all that roasty . dry finish, mild bitterness in finish, well carbonated. black in color but ruby and clear when held to light. Nice tan well retinted head.

Bottle. Pours very dark in color. Almost totally opaque. Oily, liquorice, semi-sweet aroma. Dark toffee flavor has alot if similarities with foreign stouts. A little thin in the finish.
