Indra with the hook up on the Xingu, Thank You again for the fantastic trade we put together!
A bizarre and secular brew, A lovely and exotic beer to mach its countries exquisite Brazilian females. Pours as the label states, a "Black Beer," decent toffee colored head leaves behind a substantial ring of lacing. The aroma and flavor are a bit like cider, light notes of vinegar, apple juice, toffee, cranberries, with mentions of chocolate malts. Finish is dry and bitter, very unique and exciting beer, again I find suggestions of cider. Recommended!

Pours as dark as a starless, moonless night. Even when held up to a 150 watt bulb, very little color is revealed. Finally, the sparkling clear, ruby hue is revealed. Large, light brown head. Mostly lasting with weepy lacing. Smells a bit like a chocolate cola. Sweet, pungent and spicy with coppery notes. The flavor matches the aroma. Lightly sweet and chocolatey with hints of cola and spice. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, dry, lightly bitter finish. I really like this beer, but it is definitely a strange brew!

Great, near black appearance with a small head. Some nuttiness but otherwise not much depth in the aroma. Toasted malt taste with little noticable hops in the medium-bodied flavor. Smooth, but not trenchant taste.

Pretty good beer. Black? No not really, but a nice dark brown color with a lighter brown head on top. Malty, carmel, coffee aroma. Again malty in the taste, and a nice finish. I could get used to this at 1.99 for a 22.

Beer pours (in Chimay glass) a dark brown/black light can penetrate (so much for being "black") with nearly no head that dissipates quickly to near nothing. Aroma is a mixture of candy corn and cola syrup with a faint, barely noticable skunk. Flavor is a lightly sweet and syrup with noticably sickening tones - like a poison that tastes sweet. Am I drinking windshield washing fluid or beer? This one lets you know that you are drinking poison (alcohol). Sampled at 73 degrees Fahrenheit.

Has a very dark brown color and a slightly skunked smell. Taste is somewhat smooth, sweet and finishes sweet. Overall a very different beer which I do not like too much...

Extremely dark brown...opaque, with a large light brown head. The aroma was full of caramel, roasted chocolate, and a gentle spiciness. The flavor was extremely sweet (sugary) with a solid chocolate core. The feel was thin, but perfect for this style of beer. Everything about this beer screams out "sweet stout" except the feel. Very nice schwarzbier...my favorite so far.

Dark appearance with a tan head. Fairly light bodied but flavorful nonetheless. Taste is sweet with chocolate and some sour fruit showing through as the beer warmed. Palate is a little thin. Overall a pretty good beer and just light enough to be refreshing on a hot day.

Nice and black with small tan head. Malt aroma. Very smooth, if (as noted) a bit thin. Slightly sweet roast malt flavors with a hint of molasses. I got it as a novelty, but it was much better than I expected.

Smooth, thin, dark head that's almost nonexistant. Sweet but not syrupy.
