3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Evolutionary (169) - Ohio, USA - APR 12, 2013
Bottle from Brazilian steakhouse at easton. Black pour with thin off white head. Head dissipates quick. Medium thin body and nose is ok. Balance is heavy on malt and raisiny sweetness. Ok but not something if get a six pack for.

It’s not the worst beer that I’ve had, but it’s drinkable. Better to go w/ a Guinness.

Cola colored beer with a thin, tan head. Aromas of some roasted barley and not much else. Taste is of some caramel, muted flavors of black licorice/jelly beans, and some sugar water. Bittersweet, syrupy finish. Light bodied with some cloying sweetness. Funky, just average.

355 ml. bottle. My first Brazilian - South American beer. Black with a dense, tan head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, caramel, licorice, dusty hops, slightly spicy. Taste is sweet. Light to medium body, somewhat thin, soft carbonation. Sweet finish with licorice, caramel malts and a hint of coffee. A bit weak aroma and body, OK flavour and finish. Decent.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 lusikka (4046) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 6, 2013
330 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with an off-white head. Aroma is very sweet with caramel and raisins. Flavour of roasted malts, raisins, palm and some saltiness. Medium bodied and slick mouthfeel. Finishes sweet and somewhat roasty. Too sweet for a Schwarzbier.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 mikkopen (663) - Oulu, FINLAND - APR 5, 2013
355 ml bottle. Deep reddish black colour, thin brown head. Sweet aroma of malts and berries. Tyhe flavour is also sweetish, with toasted malt and some fruitty notes. A little thin on the palate, but not bad.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 wildbeercat (119) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - APR 3, 2013
12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma: Malty. Not any hops that I can smell.
Appearance: Opaque dark reddish black. Extremely thin dark tan head that goes away quickly. It’s pretty handsome.
Taste: Sweet malts and caramel. A slight wheat flavor. Lots of subtle flavors! Pleasantly surprised.
Palate: Nice medium body, not watery at all.
Overall: Wow this beer was a surprise! The aroma didn’t have me too excited, but the taste is really good. I enjoyed this one a lot! Glad I stumbled upon it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 glasscollector (16) - Asuncion, PARAGUAY - MAR 30, 2013
0.35 L can. It smells as toasty grains, the head was long lasting, dark color similar to black coffee. It is a decent option to the typical lagers from Brazil and South America.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 GIJOE (128) - Monterey, California, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Pours deep, almost black red with a nice creamy tan head that stays around for a minute or two.
Nose is all malt, toasted.
Taste is that same sweet malt that’s in the nose. Hints of caramel come through lightly.
Medium bodied, creamy, moderate carbonation.
Not a bad beer at all. I’d drink another.
