2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle from Morrisons Supermarket, Glasgow (£1.79):
This one started well and certainly looked the part but it was a beer that started to fade down the straight and just seemed to remind me of a pale lager too much with some skunk and grassy hops making themselves know and coming across a little too strongly for my liking. I was enjoying it initially with the darker, roasted malts starting things off but these flavours disappeared far too quickly for my liking and the beer just seemed ordinary and plain by the end. Definitely better than Xingu Gold but not a beer to buy on it’s own right.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a tan head. Taste roasted malt, caramel, sweet. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2014 355 ml bottle from Liviko Alcostore in Tallinn harbour (€ 1,39), Sept 2014. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Nose is faint caramel, very faint bitterness. So is taste... or rather, it tastes intolerably sugary with no bitterness whatsoever. It just smells and tastes fake, like some lemonade. Light body. Fizzy carbonation. Finish is... you know the inconvenient dryness in your mouth after having drunk Coca-Cola?
This beer is a phony. The mega-corporation brewing this admits using hop extract probably to enhance its taste or aroma more cheaply than hops would, and caramel colour to paint it its trademark "black" instead of using appropriate malts. Not to mention the corn... Plus, why would a proper beer need food additives such as E405, E224 or E316?
What irritates me more is their campaign to "raise awarness to the Amazon Rainforest" - as if choosing to kick this shit should evoke guilt.
This cheat of a beer is a waste of water.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Destaque para o creme castanho bem formado e consistente.
Bastante opaca, um negro avermelhado. Parece forte.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I don’t know if this is a schwarzbier - not sure what it is, really. It’s pretty sweet with almost no bitterness. Subtle nut flavors. There are some slight off-flavors in here, and I am pretty sure there is lactose added because it reminds me of a milk stout. A decent beer with plenty of endearing imperfections reminiscent of a homebrew.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle @ de Tolly joogipood, Tartu, Estonia.
Pours with moderate brown head that won´t last. Aroma of some roasted malt and bit sweetness. Taste is fruity, little bit sour, sweet. Aftertaste is also sweet with very little bready bitterness. Overall quite weak head, weak aroma, weak taste, weak aftertaste. Not the worst but not good either.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a strong malt smell with a sweet follow on
Appearance- The beer is black as night and it has a nice creamy tan head
Taste- : A lightly bitter flavor with a rich hop taste.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation
Overall- This reminds me of Guinness Black Lager, but I prefer Guinness over this. Not terrible and I would recommend people to give it a whirl
