12oz bottle poured into a tulip. The aroma is a dark berry and licorice combination with smoke and a light coffee and chocolate blend. The beer is dark and near opaque with a mahogany hue. It’s topped by a brown, soapy head with a medium soapy ring and good lace. The taste is a medium sweet and medium light bitter. The texture is oily and slick with a medium body and a light, fizzy carbonation. The beer is smokey with licorice and chocolate malt. It finishes smokey with a coffee and ash touch . It’s clean with only a light coffee aftertaste.

Dark limited head retention. Smells malty as fuck. Liquorice taste, rich but not lingering taste. Nice session I think. Smells caramel like toffee apples. Very drinkable

Bottle. Looks great with a dark body and thick fluffy head. Quite sweet and not very balanced.

Pours a clear black color with some ruby in it when held up to a light. The head is rather small and khaki in color. The aroma is caramel, brown sugar, and grains. The taste is rather unique with this one. The taste is mostly dark roasted malts with some bitterness up front and ends with some faint chocolate taste but it is rather subdued. Not a huge fan of this beer.
