Bottle. Faint non-deScript aroma, with less than average carbonation. Sweet, but not much else. Black color, obviously. Disappointing lack of complexity and gravitas, and I’m partial to black beers. Could use some more hops, caramel, or just plain old ABV.

Bottle poured into a glass, zero head and zero carbonation. Weird, actually. No lacing of course. The smell is fruity, sweet, syrupy, and dark. The coloring is midnight brown, kind of like coffee, but no haziness to it. The taste, again - fruit, syrup. Sweetness. Interesting mouthfeel, goes down like water. A bit too sweet and fruity for my taste. It was okay, it was worth trying. I overpaid for it and wouldn’t buy it again though. It does match well with Brazilian food. I had it with black beans, sausage, steak, and slow cooked beef.

Bottle 35.5cl. (from Gourmondo.de). Color deep brown (but clear), good but loose foamy tan head, diminishes slowly, thin layer remains, good lacing; sweet malty aroma, roasted, cocoa, dark fruit, sugar syrup; taste medium to heavy sweet, tropical fruits, sugary; medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste fruity sweetness and slightly bitter; difficult to categorize, kind of light fruit beer, though a bit thin on the whole nice enough for me.
