COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Fiiltered
A black lager which was launched after studies by American anthropologist Alan D Eames into Amazon beer. The beer is claimed to be based on recipes for ancient Amazon beer, though critics are sceptical as neither the ingredients nor the production method match Eames’ studies. Lagering and hops were unknown to the Amazon Indians.

Bottle. Pours deep ruby brown with a tan head. Aroma is lightly sweet with caramel and a hint of roasted malt. The flavor is very bland. A touch of roasted malt and some underlying sweetness. Not a bad beer but pretty weak style wise.

Pours mahogany black with sienna head. Aroma of sour apple, wheat, bing cherry, caramel, anise. flavor of light roasted malt, anise, bing cherry, floral, light apple/melon. Medium carbonation. Aftertaste is short and malty. Pretty interesting, atypical of schwartzbiers that i’ve tried.

Looks good. Dark brown with a creamy brown head. Aroma has hint of chocolate and toasted bread and has a much sweeter scent to it than the usual german schwarz. Flavor has some soft sweet notes, a little bit brown sugerish again some light roasted malts are there to add some bitterness. Overall im satisfied!

Bottle. Pours black with a two finger tan head. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Taste is much of the same. Malts, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is a bit weak for this beer. This beer seemed to be a little watered down.

Bottle 12 oz. Pours a deep black with a smaller tan head. Nose is coffe and chocolate as is the taste. However, the taste has no real bitterness to it at all, malt flavours throughout.

Pours a deep plum color from the bottle with a trim brown/ruby head. Smells faintly of brown sugar and pond water with notes of red grapes, vanilla, and molasses in the flavor. Improves as it warms, yet a bit watery for my taste.

Almost opaque black color, small tan head. Metallic, lightly roasted malty nose. A bit sweet malty, lightly toasted, metallic and grassy hoppy. Boring.

Bottle: BOM club offering. Poured a good dark brown almost black color. Small off white head. Very little aroma. What is there tastes like a mass market beer with a little bit more color added.. Taste is mild sweet with nothing in the aftertaste. Not really all that..
