COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Fiiltered
A black lager which was launched after studies by American anthropologist Alan D Eames into Amazon beer. The beer is claimed to be based on recipes for ancient Amazon beer, though critics are sceptical as neither the ingredients nor the production method match Eames’ studies. Lagering and hops were unknown to the Amazon Indians.

Well this beer was a big surprise. Pours almost black with a nice brown and foamy head. Sweet on the tongue and easy to drink. No hops to speak of and smooth going down. Nice.

12 ounce bottle- pours a dark mahogany red/brown with a moderate beige head that quickly dissipated. Appeared more translucent than most stouts. Aroma is caramel with a wine-like undertone. Fills the mouth like a good stout, very pleasant palate. First impression on taste was a burgundy wine nip of the tongue with a very nice finish. I’m not sure how to classify this one, other than I liked it. Good brew.

Nice color. Poured a thick but fast to go head.Nothing really jumped out & grabed me but I did just have a speacher BB right before hand...(hard to top that!).I will try it again on a fresh pallet. Over-all no complaints. I think it was $8+ for a 6 w/ is to much when I can get Sams (better) Black Lager for less.

Bottle, 12 oz. Black with beige head. Some caramel in the aroma. Taste of caramel. Somewhat creamy. A nice session beer that I would drink again.

Pours dark brown with light brown head. Aromas of roasted malts and sweetness. Flavor is mildly sweet with hints of chocolate. Not bad, but not much going on. Medium full body with average carbonation and a slighly creamy mouthfeel.

Canned 0,35L. Chocolate dark body, dense in color, but so much in consistence. Brown irregular foam, quick fading. Light aroma of roasted malt, hop and some sweetness, maybe caramel or bitter chocolate. Weak flavor of roasted malt and bitter chocolate, but with a nice lasting bitter aftertaste of chocolate. Some low sweetness in the overall flavor. Good beer. Cerveja boa.
