3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brought this back from a night in Brasilia and was pleasnatly surprised, not being partial to lagers. Sweet and dark, one of a few lagers I would have a second of.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma acentuado do malte tostado. Espuma persistente. Ligeiramente adocicada. Corpo fraco, talvez pelo fato de usarem a clássica mistura brasileira de arroz e milho junto com a cevada. No geral é interessante, mas perde pra Caracu.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle poured into pilsner glass. Pours a thick black color with a small tan head that lightly laces the glass. Sweet, fruity aroma. Sweet tasting with malts, more watery than expected, but not unpleasant.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Black with next to no head. Has some dark and slightly sweetened and slightly roasted malts in a very palatable easy-drinking texture that does feel central European in style.

2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Looks like coca cola. Palate okay, not special. No taste, litterally, doesn’t taste anything. Weird.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Near black red-brown beer under a pale greige head, leaving lace. Thick, pure malty aroma, both sweet and roasted/burnt malts, raisins. Less sweet than the nose suggests, sweetish bread, Pumpernickel German black bread. Probably not very high final gravity, but it hands a really heavy impression out; slick to viscous. Definitely not bad, it is indeed true to the German Schwarz character. Proved better than expected, if nowhere the icon MJ used to make it.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark cola-colored beer with a medium foamy beige head that lasts a while. Musky, although rather faint nose of molasses, brown sugar, and cardboard. Flavor is a bit sweet with burnt sugar, caramel, and candied nuts followed by a mild bitterness. It finishes surprisingly dry which makes it less cloying than it could be given the initial flavors. Pretty good beer.
