I have never had a "dark" beer with so little body or substance, the first draw was complete cognitive dissonance. This is the Oakland of all dark beers, there is absolutely "no there, there." I shudder at how horrible it would taste if it had any flavor.

Pours a deep caramel, with a white head.
Lightly roasted aroma, corn, cardboard, toffee.
Dry lb lbit lco.
Slightly unclean taste, caramel, corn, cardbd malt burnt. (2013-03-08)

pours fairly dark. not quite as full bodied as other dark beers, but is on it’s way.

A dark brown near black color. The taste is quite light compared to the coloring of the beer. Hints of nuts and lacking a rice taste all too common in Chinese beers.

dark brown colour. Aroma is nutty, lightly molassesy. Body is light and the vaguely molassey flavour is quite thin. Overall sweet with a very quick finish. Not objectionable.
