Cask at Chippenham Beer Festival. Clear golden-amber. Floral and lemon flavours. Modern, but not over the top, just a pleasant refreshing ale with a decent body and flavour. An enjoyable one to finish the fest with.

Cask at Priory Arms, South Lambeth. A golden body topped by a bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Mild malt-fruity nose. Taste of peach, pears and mild caramel. Mid-dry malt-fruity end. Average, more or less (London 29.11.2015).

Sweet honeyish golden ale aroma. Bland light malts. So bland in the almost non-existent finish. Ugh, I don’t like golden ales when they’re so bland.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Blonde more than gold with a creamy head. Has hops, but there’s plenty of malt in here too. A session ale in style and taste.

Cask at The White Hart Tap, St Albans on 7 Jul 2012. Poured a very hazy golden colour, with a halo of white head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel and soft fruit. Apricots and pineapple in the flavour, with biscuity malt. Finish was lemongrass, yeast and bready malt.

Cask half-pint in Far From The Madding Crowd, on 18th Oct 2014, just before going to the CAMRA Oxford beer festival.
Golden body, bright and clear, the head white and lasting. Nose is malt sweet with a citrus bent, as is the taste. Drying finish to this fairly light flavoured sweet brew, nice.

Cask gravity at the Watford RFC beer fest. Golden light amber colour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is standard biscuit and light berry hop and some English yeast esters. Palate is light and slight chalky carbonation. Flavour is berry hop biscuit malt and English yeast esters. Pretty bog standard.

Cask pint in The Rising Sun, Berkhamsted. Golden clear ale, with small white bubbly head. Nose is citrousy, grassy, lemon, slight grapefruit, golden grain husk. Taste is citrousy, lemon, grain husk, grassy, grapefruit tang.
