2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
1 liter plastic screw top bottle from Kostroma, Russia. Did not pour, but the clear plastic lets me get a real good look at it. Looks like apple juice. Aromas of corn and caramel. Flavor is lightly bitter with a hint of Czech type hops, also semi sweet. Taste is green apple, caramel, some spicy and grassy hops. Finish is pretty industrial. Mediocre at best.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tap. Pale yellow color. Tiny white head, stays. Mix of apples and yeast in aroma. Grainy and papery flavor. Not really good.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Amber with stable head
Grainy, malty aroma is rough around the edges but no diacetyl or overt flaw, maybe just a little phenol
Its not so bad, really, there are malt sugars just without depth and without bready fun.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Yellow with a light head. Grassy aroma with light graininess. The palate is sweeter, with some acidity to balance. The malts are more expressive than the hops but not particularly strong. A middle-of-the-road zhivoe.
