3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of their regular house beers. On draught at the brewpub in downtown Vancouver (Yaletown sector), Canada. Pours a clear golden blonde brew with a creamy white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of light white bread malt, a little more fruity character than the Short Sleeve Pils with a touch of corn and grassy hops. Taste is smooth, light bodied with a corn/light white bread malt with a hint of citrus. Finish is semi-sweet with a good balance of light bread malt and citrus hop bitterness.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sampled on tap at the brewery.
Light golden colour with a thin white head. Nose is faint and the little that is there seemed malty. Corn in the mouth but very little flavour. Very generic.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
(Draught) On tap at Yaletown on June 21, 2006. Like heavy sour cream were either added early or something broke down? Tart hops and soured mash at the brewpub makes me question why brewers don’t pull their spoiled beers??? Yuck.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gold color, low clingy head. Toasted malt base, light. Some bitter from hops. Medium body. Clean palate. Decent lager, though not so thrilling.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gold-amber color---light wispy head...Aroma was light but surprisingly malty---a nice surprise...Flavor also features the firm malt floor---hops are understated slightly but with that distinctive Hallertau roundness...Carbonation is kept suitably light, and the finish was pleasantly and lightly dry. Body was good for a pale lager...Overall, this was a very enjoyable lager, well-balanced, tasty and quaffable...
