japewang (42), USA Oct 12, 2007 On tap at Yaletown, Vancouver BC. Reddish, amber in color. Thin head. Hoppy with malt tones. Faint caramel tone. Strictly average all around.
fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 2, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Hazy amber color. It would be a lightly fruity and caramelly Ale, pleasant, if not for the mild aftertaste of burnt coffee. Skyview (2851), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jun 15, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in downtown Vancouver (Yaletown sector), Canada. Pours a clear copper amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin creamy thin head and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some pear/apple character, a touch of citrus and some brown rice. Taste is smooth, medium bodied, with some light carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, citrus hops and a touch of light hard fruit. Finish is slightly sweet with a mild light bitterness that slowly disappears. presario (2405), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Nov 10, 2007 Sample glass. Amber with a thin head. Not a lot of aroma; traces of malt and hops. Flavour seems like a Bitter or ESB. Surprising hop level in the finish builds with each sip. Goes from unassuming to quite nice. yarry (351), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2007 On tap at Yaletown Brewing.
Nice ruby colour with a slight haze, thin white head. The nose is of malt and fruit. A nice hops and citrus taste and smooth palate.
