I was dying of thirst by the time I had arrived at Pudong Int’l airport and the first tearoom had sold out of beer completely so off to the next with fingers crossed. Ordered two bottles straight up as I didn’t want to alert the waitstaff too soon of needing another. Discarding the ice and straw they gave me it produced up a sparkling yellow gold with a light, fluffy cloud of white atop that held on for dear life. Notes of lemon-pepper, grass and sunny grain on the nose - clean as a whistle. Similar on the palate with a richer, sweet malt and rice presence. Very light in bodied even as it warms. Clean, crisp and bitter, grassy hop finish. Light sourness to it but doesn’t over tone the sweetness. One dimensional but arguably refreshing stuff. Pale yellow of color. An aroma of cereal and salt. A flavor of cereal, popcorn and salt.

Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110129]

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes malt and fruitys hops. Taste is light sweet. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours clear pale yellow with a off white head. Sulphur, paper and metal. Quite nasty to put it blunt!

Can 33 cl. Courtesy of Geokkjer. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Completely neutral aroma, very close to water. Light body, very sweet rice notes, heavy carbonation and some metal. No hops at all. 290111

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2010 Can. As Yanjing 10ºP Light Beer. It’s a pale yellowish golden beer with a minimal white head on top. Herbal, fruity nose with a grainy touch. It’s very thin on the palate, watery and dry, with flavors of pale malts and fruits. A light herbal touch too, but there’s not much bitterness going on. Short, fruit finish. A super-watery and tasteless beer that doesn’t taste bad. waste of ingredients. 101008
