Can @ plane from Frankfurt to Pudong. Pours light yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, light grassyness, notes of rice. Taste is malt, grain, some light grassy hops. Thin body, lively carbonation. Another boring pale lager. 020112

Almost no head and a yellow body, slightly acidic on the nose with lemon hints. Flavour is some slight fruity malts interspersed with water and rice. Kind of a crappy brew, but I’ve had worse.

Bottle brought and enjoyed in China. Strangely enough this is called Draft, but was served in a can. Small light off-white fizzy head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Clear light pale yellow color. Aroma of again what appeared to me more like rice then malt. Light sweet and almost like fruity to it. A touch of bitterness can be detected. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor. Light sweet finish with a touch of bitterness in the end.

Can. Oily and flat looking like morning pee. Cheap cereal grain and plastic; processed cheese, rubber, oil, and industrial resin. Flavors are sour, yogurty in a bad way. Thin, tacky, and fizzy.

Ja, diese Brauerei gefällt mir mehr und mehr. Die Hauptstadt Brauerei produziert tatsächlich leckeres Bier! Der Antrunk wird von einer Herbe dominiert, die ab dem Mittelteil als Unterton dient. Dort setzt ein malzig bitterer Ton ein (für chinesiches Bier ungewöhnlich bitter!), der bis zum Abgang hält. Der bittere Nachgeschmack verdeutlicht noch einmal, das auch chinesiches Bier durchaus nach etwas schmecken kann. Herrlich! Test vom 16.10.2006, Gebinde: Dose Noten: -,10,8,8,9,9

Can. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, apple. Flavour is sweet, fruit, malt, apple. Thin beer.

Can. It pours a clear, pale golden body and a small, diminishing white head. Fruity, syrupy-sweet aroma, peaches, banana and yellow apples. Sweet and thin on the palate, watery actually. The flavor is as the aroma, weak and fruity, with the same peaches, banana and yellow apples. Quite sugary sweet. A hint of bitterness is detected, mostly shows up towards the very end. it’s drinkable indeed, sort of quenching, but it’s too sweet to slake the thirst. And of course, I’d prefer water. 101006
