Terrible aroma that is matched by the flavor. Somewhere under the muck is a nice taste of honey. There is no carbonation. This dog has everything except a tail.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. Much like everyone else, my bottle is green and just says Yanjing so I hope this is the right entry. It pours yellow with a fizzy white head. The nose smells like a combination of rotting vegetation and stale, lightstruck euro lager. The taste is as terrible as you might imagine. This crap is just plain vile and a total drain pour. This was the last place beer in the Great Beer Bonanza II: Africa, Australia, and the Far East. Universally hated. I can’t see why they import this crap.

bottle. like many others, i’m not sure if this is the right entry -- the green bottle says "Yanjing Beer". as for the beer itself, it’s lousy. slightly skunked and watery.

Bottle. Like other, I don’t know what the hell I’ve drank, as they’re all vaguely named. But whatever. Clear gold pour, small beige head. Aromas of skunk, wet grass, and sugar. Watery raisin and prune flavor, with sugar and hay. High carbonation and watery. Bad. [967]

Man it took some work trying to figure out what I bought here. The beer pours a very pale golden with a big white head that just can’t wait to dissapear. The aroma is seven dead skunks and some rice krispies cereal along with a light toastiness. The tastes pretty bad, lots of rice and alcohol harshness dominate the flavor followed by some apple, a fair level of sweetness, and I swear just in the back there a bit of rosemary. This is likely one of the worst I’ve had in some time. I swear while casually drinking this with dinner I enjoyed it one time, I bet it was something spicy I was eating.

I have no idea if this is the right Yanjing type or not, my bottle only says "YanjingBeer" on it, no other descriptor. Lemon yellow color, metallic lemon scent. Tastes like soda water with day old beer from last night’s party added. Bleh, avoid.

Looks like beer, taste a tad old. This has that malty sweetness, or corn like flavor beers get when they have hit the sun and fridge too many times, not very good, but it is "green food" at least, so your set if your Logans Run.

Pours yellow with a fully receding white head. Notes of light malt, corn and coarse grain husk. Thin bodied with lively carbonation.

Pale golden body with a thin, diminishing white head. Weak aroma of corn and chemicals. Flavor is weak grainy and watery with no bitterness and short finish.

21-Mar-2010 - Euro Pils light sweet aroma. Clear amber colour, ordinary head that diminishes quickly and no lacing. Light sweet and dusty stale hop flavour. Finishes with a tangy hop and low bitterness.
