Nov 24, 2009 I have no idea if this is the right beer, all my bottle says is "yanjing beer" and ratebeer does a piss poor job of giving us information to differentiate the different listings. This poured yellow and had a white head at one point but settles completely 100% headless. Nose is crisp with notes of old lime, wheat and mellow lager yeast. Soft grains and wheat dominate the clean, mellow flavors with hints of citrus splash in the finish. Actually, its fairly clean for the style and I like the distinctive lemony/lime notes in the finish. Not much else to say.

Oct 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear straw coloured with a nice egg white head. Very fizzy and lively body. Aromas of grass, grain, vegetables and caramel. Weak flavour with notes of cereal and caramel.

Sep 10, 2009 Ok, the bottle I have just says "Yanjing Beer" and doesn’t look like any of the bottles I have seen. Pours golden with a big white head. Aroma is faint, light bready malts. Flavor is also light, bready, kind of stale tasting. Pretty meh.

Sep 1, 2009 330 ml bottle from GM Liquors. Mose is lightly grassy and grainywith a light sweet note. Sparkling yellow with a small white head. Flavor is light bitterness combined with sweetness.

Sep 1, 2009 Clear golden with a medium white short lasting head. Sweet fruity aroma with malty and caramel notes. Flavour was sweet and malty with caramel notes. The finish was slightly bitter.
