dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Dec 24, 2007 330ml bottle.
Golden yellow with small fading white head. Sweet grassy earth skunk aroma. Grass, hay and slight sour hops. Average average average. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 5, 2007 Bottled(330ml). –Green bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour with big airy white head that lasts about four seconds. Weak malty and hoppy aroma with obvious rice presence. Salty finish. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2007 Blah...I knew this was going to be bad but I had to try it. Pour was an unusually light gold with a 2 finger white head. Aroma of skunk and seltzer (a winning combination). Very thin and watery mouthfeel with not much taste. I feel sorry for the Chinese if this is their "Official State Beer". Blah. Gr0ve (1382), Oslo, Norway Jul 22, 2007 600 ml bottle. Bright golden colour. Head falls down immediately. Crystal clear. Nice golden colour. Sharp maltiness and very sugary aroma. Very thin body with a little malt that lasts only a second before cidery sugars set in. Very neutral hops and a really clean bitterness. Awful industrial produce. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jul 11, 2007 Bottle from chinese supermarket. Aroma has cardboard an ink, pale lager malts and a small acidic hint. Taste is up front a sweetish biscuit malt with some hints of tea, however the cardboard/ink combo taks over again and get in the way. thebeertourist (2751), Oslo, Norway May 21, 2007 Bottle. Clear, golden colour, fast disappearing head. Artificially sweet aroma. Quite sweet flavour, bitterness is absent. Drinkable as an alternative to water. larsga (2937), Oslo, Norway May 9, 2007 Medium very coarse white head quickly disappears entirely. Copper body with carbonation. Watery caramel, burnt rubber and sugary caramel aroma. Bitter watery sugary artificial chemical taste. Empty papery aftertaste. Not good. (0.66l bottle.) KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway May 9, 2007 Bottled with a label with an Italian slogan, bought in an oriental food shop in Italy. The label says just Yanjing Beer.
A little carbonation. fine golden color. A little malt, and something which resembles artificial sweetener, but is probaly rice malt. Sweetish aftertaste. Awful beer.
