A little carbonation. fine golden color. A little malt, and something which resembles artificial sweetener, but is probaly rice malt. Sweetish aftertaste. Awful beer.
Interesting that they bother to ship this type of crap around the world. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 30, 2007 330ml green bottle, labeled as Yangjing Beer. Straw coloured beer, white head flares up impressively upon pouring, but totally vanishes in about 5 seconds, not even one damn bubble left on the surface (and yes, my glass is clean). Aroma is grassy, yet not overly skunky with some grainy malt. Flavour is slightly metallic with some sweet cut grass and some grain and a suggestion of lemon. Light body, light carboantion. It did not impress me deeply. rauchbier (2999), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Dec 23, 2006 Bottle, from Chopstix Asian food store in Grimsby. Pale gold, shortlived white head and gentle condition. Gentle grassy/skunky herbal hoppiness and trace fruitiness in the nose, quite foul in the mouth with some initial soft graininess turning quite soapy and chemicaly phenolic. Short dry finish with a worrying touch of chlorine. Boutip (2350), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Bottle: Poured a golden yellow color lager with a small white bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of skunk is pretty intense and frankly a bit expected when green bottle are used to transport beer 3000 miles from the brewery. Taste is a mix of boring weak malt. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 5, 2006 A golden lager with a thick dissipating white head. Light sulfide aroma and corney adjunct. In mouth, a decent malt with some light german hops, rather short in mouth, yet, overall, honest little beer. scotty (830), Scotland
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 24, 2006 A fine looking lager, good mid gold colour, firm white head with a good bead. Nose is quite grassy with a slight maltiness, reminds me of Steinlager a bit. Palate is thin and pretty tasteless, I notice it has rice in its make up, so no surprise there then! 7/20 is higher than I’d normally give this style of beer, but its good looks increased its score!
I’m assuming that this is the correct beer. My example was from a bottle, and was the only 4.5% I could find on the list of the brewers beers. CapFlu (3481), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Deep yellow with a dissipated white head and mild carbonation. Nose of mineral water, banana esters, caramel malt. Flavour is thin, corny and bland.
