0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
This is the Budwieser of Beijing. A working man’s beer that goes for about 33 cents US in a 600ml bottle. Flat, even highly iced down and newly opened, the equivilent of Koelsh but without the character, or any character, it reminds me now of off tasting water with a hint of something called "beer." avoid avoid avoid

Sure, it’s a typical North American style Pale Lager. Still, it’s from
China, so that’s cool. The flavor is standard, but good.

Big head, which collapsed pretty quickly. Typical light lager aroma. Golden yellow body. Slightflavor of cooked corn. Cheap lager to go with my Chinese food I bought at 99 Ranch Market.

Pours fizzy gold with a quick, foamy white head.
Sweet corn aroma.
Taste is corn, grain malt, water, paper.
Fizzy, but flat....
About what you’d expect....except for the astonishing lack of skunk.....Don’t know how they managed that.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pale yellow pour with thin white head. Very little flavor of corn and grass. Not much good to say about this one, I can’t say I enjoyed it. Just not for me.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can on Air China flight. Pale pissy gold. Insipid, corny aroma. Weak carbonation. Straw, corn and weak-ass hops. Not appetising in the slightest, but some moisture for the throat.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle (330ml): Pale gold, clear pours with light head that dissipates very quickly. Lifted, malt, citrus, funky almost skunks. Dank wood profile. Sweet and no bitterness or sourness. Feels cloying. Short and little flavor. I assume the only time to drink this is in high humidity while eating hot sechuan food.
Very weak. Needs more co2.

Bottle, given to me by Rockley. Very pale yellow pour, sudsy white head. Low aroma of papery grains. Grainy watery palate with a dry boxboard finish. Oxidized and weak.
