Straw yellow with big, clingy bubbles and headless; though to its credit it was served in a plastic cup. Musty and tinny aroma of pear drops, lemon zest, mown lawn, boiled rice and dank liquor. Gassy and featherweight in the mouth with a starchy presence and slightly vegetal note coming through from the malt I suspect. Faint grassy hop backend before a starchy finish. Lingering boiled cabbage note not too good. Not the best Yanjing especially after tasting the Yanjing 10ºP Light Beer from bottle. Canned light beers just don’t work in China! (33cL can, unknown date stamp, Pudong Airport, Beijing, China)

Light golden colored, no head. Grassy and lemony, definite Yanjing aroma. Carbonated mouthfeel. Flavor is pretty much same, lemon and some grassy-papery note. Good with Chinese food, otherwise, well, medium.

Can. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma is rice, malt. Flavour is rice, malt, corn. Thin boring beer.

Can. A clear, pale golden beer topped by some white bubbles. The aroma is weak but not foul, mostly pear-like fruityness. Pears and grains in the flavor, lacking bitterness and other hoppy flavors. No finish. Thin body. Not much beery in this one, superboring, almost like drinking flavored water. 100331

Can 330ml.Pours clear golden a soap bubble head.Aroma of sweet corn and some hops.Taste of yellow apples some malt and almost without bitterness. Overall a pretty boring beer.

Bottle. Ultra pale yellow, head has some stability anyway. Eggy sulfuric aroma is actually not super-offensive. Very light! Watery with hardly any flavors and therefore quite painless.

Bottle in Guilin...it was probably brewed by Liquan locally. Very pale straw. Appley aroma is thankfully quite vague. Insipid. Not much of anything going on. Very light, only with slight hints of grain.
