Better than not having a beer in front of me I suppose, but not by much. Have I written enough yet? Good.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The name helps, as this helt indeed fresh, one of the "best" cheap pale lager I’ve had lately, certainly the best Chinese pale lager. At 3.6%, it is crisp and refreshing, with a touch of grassy bitterness. Don’t expect a nice appearance or any pleasant aroma, but overall it is not toooooo bad. [I love the back label, seemingly showing the difference between flower survival in a glass of beer: dead in beer of the 1900’s, and alive in beer in 2004, made with good quality water.]

BOTTLE 50CL 3.6% ABV.
Look: clear straw, white frothy head.
Aroma: some spicy hops out of the bottle, which almost disappear in the glass, light malty, watery.
Taste: crisp and clean well attenuated, sweet, malt, some grassy hops, no hop bitterness.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pale yellow, white fizzy head. Medium carbonation. Slightly malty nose. Very mild malty taste, with even milder bitterness. Refreshing stuff, but pretty tasteless. (330 ml can, ABV 3,6 version, original gravity 10P)

0.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
580 ml bottle at abv 4.5% bought at ParkN’Shop Superstore in Fanling.
Piss pale golden yellow colour; One finger head and soapy crumpety white foam which last for about 2 minutes; Minimal lacing with fizzy carbonation; Quite pungent smell of malt, soap water, green apple, light bread, rice, carbonated soda, hint of citrus and grass; Sweet taste of malt, with strong apple juice, wort, rice, wet cardboard, faint citrus and raw grassy hops; Light body, quite watery but sluggish palate; Mouth feel is poor, unbalanced cloying sweet wort, with lots of apple juice, malt, rice and wet cardboard. Feel a bit like Blue Girl and Sonderberg. Shitty! Hoppiness is faint citrus nose and taste, raw and unpleasant grassy hops, minimal bitterness for a sweet finish; Slightly dry after taste, Sweet and raw to mouth.
Comments: All these slogans about zero-oxidation and fresh fermentation on the label are total bullshit. This brew is just a batch of over oxidized wort being served to innocent drinking public. Cloying from start to finish with no redeeming value whatsoever. Drain pours!

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Canned in Changchun, Jilin. Clear pale yellow, no head. Aroma of blueberry pie and green hops. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel and lightbody. Grainy and salty, unusually hoppy for a Chinese lager. Noticable salty bitterness.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Yellow colored with little white head. Biting aroma with some grassy-lemony note. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is similar with same biting grassy note in start, aftertaste dries with some unclean grainy tone.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Can on an Air China flight...smells sickly sweet, i’d say corn, but according to the ingredients list, there’s no corn (not that I trust ingredient lists in China).
Tastes syrupy sweet, a little rotting grass flavor there, but mainly industrial sweetness. Finishes with a puckering chemical aftertaste that was particularly offensive.
