DougShoemaker (2560), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 10, 2008 Smells of corn and rice, amber, small short lived white head. Taste is a faint malt, light bodied, grainy, better than expected. (Rating #840) JohnBarleycorn (372), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 21, 2007 Can. Medium gold body and predominantly stale malt aroma. Easy drinking, melt-in-your-mouth palate helps the beer go down easily. Beyond a slightly medicinal quality in the flavour, there’s actually a 101-basic balance between malt, grain and bitter elements, leading to a canned corn and mild bitter finish. Nothing special; neither good nor terrible. Radek Kliber (3284), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 9, 2007 Can 355 ml
Pours clear gold with laud white frothy top. (3- )
Sweet lager with cardboard, dusty notes, mineral finish.
Fairly thin front, beer that gets fuller as you drink. Green leaf unpleasant bitterness, felt soapy, chemical like. Carbonation well in check for such beer. Regular drinkers wont like it coz does not taste smooth and clean and it does have this soapy finish. Better informed beer drinkers won’t like this incoherent brew as well because its plain and simple badly brewed. Harsh hops, larger that is not crisp with weak malt base and overlly pronouced alcohol presence.
Cartoon_khaki (1110), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Mar 31, 2007 Pale yellow with white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of dry grass. Grainy flavour. Pale creamy at times mouth feel with a bit of dryness...
