Appearance was clear orangish amber gold with creamy diminishing off white 1/2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet toffee, candi sugar, deep fruits, fruity yeasts profile with hints of alcohol. Taste was sweet rich toffee malts, candi, raisin, fig, date and slight aclohol. Palate was smooth soft creamy CO2 with meduim-full body, then lasting sweet malty fruity yeasty warming finish. A Beauty, waiter said brewed@Firestone.

On tap opening night yard house Minnesota, wow this is sweet. Dark fruit forward with tons of candi sugar flavor. Alcohol hides behind sweetness so watch out.

On tap at Yard House Houston. A thin light beige head, off-white in color sits on top of an dark orange to amber body. Unclear. The aroma has a touch of toffee, but it’s mostly fruityness going on, with hints of yeast and also prunes and raisins. Pretty similar flavor, just some bitterness added. It’s full bodied, perhaps a bit too carbonated. Quite dry. Long finish with toffee, prunes and yeast. Not my favorite Belgian ale, it’s too yeasty. Still quite drinkable. 131111

Nice medium amber appearance. You can smell the 9% abv before you taste it. Malty, bubbly, and very strong, to the point that it burns in the back of the throat.

Poured from a tap. Light orange brown color, nice white frothy head. Malt, and wet towel smell. Slight bitterness, malt strong alcohol flavor and cheese.

On draught at the chain in San Antonio. Pours a rich, opaque amber color. Thin white head. Wild, yeasty aroma with a hint of sugar. The flavor is much sweeter, brown sugar, and a medium bitterness on the finish. Laces intricately. Sort of harsh with the high abv.

Draft to taster at Yard House Cincinnati. Looks good for the style; a slightly hazy amberish orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; sweet, doughy, yeasty, and lightly fruity. Average on the palate. Enjoyable.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4547) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Sampled on draft at the Yard House in Palm Beach Gardens this beer poured a medium brown color with an enormous creamy orange-tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sugar, mixed dark & golden fruits, a strong yeasty presence and a bit of pepper. The flavor was strong bread dough, yeast, pepper, candied fruits and toffee. Long finish of bread, yeast, pepper and candied fruits. Moderately full boded. Very nice.

Puffy beige head atop a light chestnut beer. Nose of honey and sharp baking spices with something floral. Taste follows. Almost medicinal hot alcohols in the background are not so nice. Finish is dry, but the honey gives the illusion of a sweeter beer. Great deal on happy hour!

opper/brown with an off-white head that dissipates quickly. Faint toasted bread aroma. Medium body with initial caramel malt flavor that fades into a cherry-cranberry fruitiness. Average hoppy finish. Lacks the complexity of most tripels
