Tap at Metropolitan. Pours clear brown with a large, creamy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is diacetyl, cookie and toast malt with dates. Flavor is malt dominant with light diacetyl, light hops and bitterness and a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On tap at the Grey Lodge. Poured a medium brownish/deep amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roastiness, chocolate, and some caramel. Tastes of the same roastiness, caramel, and a little earthy. Not bad for a 4% beer for sure.

Nose is toffee, bready malts, biscuit, pinch of spice.
Taste comprises bready malt, toffee, bread dough, touch of dark fruit, earthy.
Medium bodied, prickly carbonation - over cooked.
Adequate mild but nothing I’d want to return to.
