But thank god they’re back! Brawler is a good example of why Yards is known around these parts for the last ten years....mild deceptive, nice biscuit, malt bite in the back of the throat, but perfect for lunch or just to socialize. Great stuff.

Dark amber nice off white head. Minimal aroma. Flavor mild, mild malt minimal hops, easy drinkin’ but needs a bit more on all fronts. Name is deceiving. Was expecting bigger.

On draft @ Doyle's Pour House (Waretown NJ). Pours a dark brown color with a foamy tan head. Aroma is very malty. Sweet carmel and roasted malt. Taste is also of carmel and roasted malts.

Straight forward mild. Fruity aromas and flavors with clean toast and nutty malts. Nice beer.

On tap at Side Door Pub in Chalfont, PA. I hate that Yards is one of the first breweries mentioned when discussing Philly beer. Case in point, the unbalanced Brawler. Malty without the alcohol content or hoppiness to make this drinkable.

Dark brown and pretty clear. Nice malty toffee aroma. Taste is fairly sweet with a slight British hop finish. Low carbonation. Very sessionable. Enjoyable for most occasions. Finish is extremely smooth, sweet and enticing for another sip.

Nevelig licht oranjebruin bier, kleine, totaal wegzakkende kraag. Moutig aroma, branderig. Komt vooral pas door in de mond, weinig in de neus. Smaak lichtzoet, beetje kunstmatig. Weinig body, weinig balans.

Brown with a ruby tint. Malt aroma. Malt flavor some roastiness some hops in the finish. Very smooth.
