Appearance- moderate light mocha tan head. Some lacing (not a lot). Crystal clear mahogany brown.
Smell- clean. Spicy, sweet malts, light ginger notes, clove.
Taste- light biscuits and malt up front, feint sweet spices on the back end. Not too much going on here.
Mouthfeel- very light body. Creamy. Little/light carbonation.
Overall- a nice easy drinker. Decent session ale. Would prefer it with food.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle poured into half pint imperial glass. Thoroughly drinkable get-you-through-the-afternoon type of beer. Malty, malty, malty. All things considered I’d prefer a genuine English bitter to these mild malt bombs that seem to be America’s answer to a question that’s already been answered (what’s the ideal session beer?).

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a burnt orange with a half finger off white head which fades to just a little lacing. Arona is to toasted bready malts, sweet malts, caramel, tofee, light grassy hop, and light spicy hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel, and a mostly sweet, medium-finish. Overall, a average but drinkable & sessionable mild.

A good tasting beer, that leaves a good after taste too. I bought one bottle at a place that lets you create your own six pack from a selection of about 15 didfferent beers.

Dark ruby almost brown pour from Roar in Allentown. Aroma of malt, cloves, spice, caramel, bread. Flavor is heavy on the malt, slightly sweet and a bit spicy. Certainly mild. Low ABV but the high malt content prevents it from being a true sessionable ale.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark caramel color with an off-white head that settles to a film, some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts & some sweetness. Medium body, taste of toasted malt with almost no hop presence. The toasted flavor continues through the finish with a little bitterness. Not crazy about this one, but not bad...average.

[on tap at Local, PHI airport]
Toasty toffee and roasted barley aroma with no hops to speak of. Clear bronze under a white patch and collar. Sweet bread crust and light roasted barley flavour that is a bit off balance toward sweet, but fairly complex. Chocolate and vanilla accents come out later in the taste. Nutty notes as well. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth.
