3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, thanks to Scott. Bottling date appear to read 09/19/13. Totally clear sort of auburn brown red color. Little grayish white head, leaves good splotches and ropes of lace. Good chocolately, toasty malt character. Maybe a slight metallic emptiness in the aroma. Smooth, soft, light to moderate strength carbonation. Lightly dry fish, lighter body. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, little sweetness. Great English-style dark session ale. Was very good to wash my sandwich down with.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle thanks to DrSilverworm - pours deep amber with light tan head. Nose is caramel. Sessionable for sure. Slight hop presence. Label has an old fashioned boxer duking it out with what appears to be the devil (of the Goethe sort despite the lack of hoofed feet). timid for a brawler.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: Amber/Brownish Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head, Decent Lacing
S: Black Bread, Mild Caramel, Mildly Earthy
T: Caramel, Mild Grainy Malts
M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Grainy
Overall, the bark is way better than the bite, not much nose or flavor after a nice appearance.
