COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally brewed to withstand the epic voyages from the shores of England around the African Cape of Good Hope to the Indian Subcontient, the India Pale Ale has always been a beer for the adventurous soul. Thoroughly hopped with Amarillos in both the whirlpool and the fermenter, it was then transferred to our makeshift shipping cask, where it was dry-hopped again with Nugget and Columbus. Set adrift in our brewery without cooling, it was able to age as though it had been put to sea for six months. The result is an authentic double dry hopped and uniquely aged India Pale Ale reminiscent of something you’d find solace in on a balmy, Indian evening far away from home. Beware of tigers

Cloudy reddish amber appearance with an average size beige head and good lacing. Floral hops hit first in the aroma with plenty of citrus in the background. A clean, pungent taste with a variety of hop characteristics and a solid malt backbone. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a long lasting finish that hides the abv pretty decently. A well made example in a style with a lot of competition.

Malty aroma similar to 90 minute. Hops also come out. It pours a clear but deep reddish amber. Taste is balanced yet a tad more to the spicy hoppy side. Instead of the sweet roundness of malt, there is a slightly sour lemon presence which makes this interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a deep amber color with a decent off white head. Nice head retention. The nose starts with a dash of pine but quickly goes heavy with citrus. The flavor has decent malt and hop balance. There is a toasted malt, slightly buttery flavor. Plenty of malt bitterness and lots of citrus notes from the hop side. The alcohol is a bit obvious. Medium to full bodied with an oily feel to it that clings to the tongue. I wouldn’t mind a cleaner finish. I feel like the flavors don’t quite mesh together. Okay, but not one I would return to.

Bottle. Pours a orangish amber with little head and aromas that are odd. Chocolate? Flavor is kind of weak and doesn’t really match my idea of the style. Like a washed out IPA with herbal and fruity hops.

Bronze with thin but appetizing head with lacing. Fresh citrusy aroma, Big, thick IPA. Well balanced, good malt backbone, very enjoyable.

Orangey copper color with a whitish head. Hints of citrus zest, pepper, leading to a hoppy but not overly bitter finish. Well balanced, punchy, hints of lemongrass. Quite a nice IPA.

Bottle from Mari’s. Pours clear copper with a small white head that dissipates quickly to a slight film. There is plenty of carbonation in the glass. The aroma has a good citrus punch with enough astringency to let you know this is well hopped. The taste is very citrus forward but has a nice bitterness on the finish. This well exceeded expectations!

Clear copper color with no head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and floral hops. Citrus flavor with caramel, pine, and hint of hops. Thick body with creamy mouth feel. Good beer.

A fairly "thick" IPA with a malt profile that reminded me of a light Belgian. Quite carbonated. Good.

A pretty solid DIPA with a nice hoppy profile. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. Enjoyable.
