COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship is keg-conditioned ale with a sack full of British East Kent Goldings hops in each keg. This ale was created to offer true cask conditioned ale flavor without the hassle of extensive cellaring. True British cask conditioned flavor is a complex, lively balance between malt, hops, and fruity esters.

CASK: Average amber appearance w/ no head. Had an interesting aroma w/ hints of mango in it. The taste was lightly hoppy w/ a rosie/flowery backblow. Definite hints of mango in it.

On tap GABF ’02: Orange, bold and malty. The best bitter that I’ve ever had. Bold flavor and lasts forever.

Aroma is yeasty, malty, hoppy, fruity, wow, it’s great?Very overwhelming like many Belgians but without the eccentricness.Nice mouthfeel, yeast and hops take the flavor from start leads to a malty finish.Has quite an alcoholic kick.

Got it out of a keg after a very long, hot day. SO that may effect the tasting. It had a very smooth flavor for a bitter with a hint of fruit. Definatly, somethng to try again.

Appearance in not very eye catching. Cloudy with little appeal. A bitter after taste that lasts until the next sip. Very complex brew with a significant hop flavor. Hint of fruit on the aroma. Overall I was disappointed. Will not be a staple brew in my house.

Muddy iced tea with heaps of dregs. Thick foamy tan head blotched with cocoa. Rushing carbonation. Aroma of grapes, bubblegum, tart and sweet barnyard qualities. Initially strange. Momentary hint of barnyard, acidic body, lively and bubbly. Dry with hints of fruit skins and bubblegum. Light body, airy. Spicy edge, peppery almost. Hoppy bite appears as it sits. Mixes with a light malt base. This is one wacky brew. Lingering yeast flavor, farmy and tart. Finishes savory, still fruity with a restrained hop flavor and bitterness. Do I like it?

Hazy deep orange color, bottle conditioned but yeast not swirled and poured for a change. Lively carbonation, normal head (off-white). Aroma is a bit faint, but has some Goldings. Flavor profile has some slightly sweet caramel, bready malt and a hint of green apple blending with hop spices. Finish sees some nice hop bitterness and a tad of apricot, and the palate is very effervescent and bubbly. Largely dry. Very drinkable.

Deep copper with orange tints. Solid cream colored head. Distinct malt & hop aroma, but not real specific. The yeast character is prominent: lightly fruity, some vanilla, perfumy, quite unique. Fruity malt upfront, thin bodied, almost Belgian in a way with some earthiness. Some hop flavor mid-swallow leading into a bitterness that coats the back of the mouth and throat - very solid. Long lasting malt finish that just lays in your mouth. Not nearly as malty or complex as it used to be. Very English except for the strength. A good pint.

Reddish-amber color, very nice lacy head, well carbonated, sweet malty aroma, nice balance, great mouthfeel, lots of floaters in this bottle-conditioned brew, a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste as well as some sweet malty flavors, good bitter brew
