Commercial Description:
Our flagship is keg-conditioned ale with a sack full of British East Kent Goldings hops in each keg. This ale was created to offer true cask conditioned ale flavor without the hassle of extensive cellaring. True British cask conditioned flavor is a complex, lively balance between malt, hops, and fruity esters.

Thanks to my nephew mathew for this. Amber pour with aroma of caramel malts. Mild hoppy taste witha medium to mild body. It was ok.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark copper body with a small thin off-white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is sort of a generic fruity ale yeastiness with a touch of light hops. Toasty and biscuity malt below. The flavor is a little grainy with a soggy wet maltiness and minimal floral hops. Some yeastiness on the finish. Medium bodied with a little coarseness to it. Moderate fizzy carbonation. This used to be my go-to beer when I lived in Philly back around 1999-2000, but this has changed quite a bit since then, and not in a good way.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy dark amber with a one finger, off white creamy head. Aroma dominated by caramel malt, some hops, and a light fruit boquet. Taste is quite malty sweet, with decent hop flavor throughout and a quite strong bitter finish.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours murky brown with a thick, off-white head. Aroma of sugar, malts, hops, raisins, and hints of citrus. Thick body with a crisp finish. Good local ale.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Metallic note right off the bad with a surrounding nutty, tannic, toasted malt character. A bit fruity with a dry burnt malt finish. Eh.

Dark chestnut color, tan head and medium lacing. 12 oz. bottle compliments of my bro in law Tom. Aroma of dark roasted malt, and some spiciness. Flavor is malty to start, but there is some bitter hoppiness in the middle to latter part of the mouthfeel. Very solid brew overall - think this one would be even more enjoyable in the winter season.

On tap at Tria 8/11/09. Pours a dark amber, nice frothy cream colored head. Very little aroma at all. However, taste has a nice sweetness, then a mild bitter. Very light bodied and very sessionable.
