We craft our Grand Cru with pilsner malt imported from Belgium and use a classic yeast from the same iconic brewing nation. A subtle malt profile compliments the fruity esters produced by this distinctive yeast. A blend of noble hops adds just a touch of aroma, nicely rounding out this deep golden, slightly tart, effervescent delight.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2013 Bottle pours a nice bronze color with foamy white head. Nice lacing. Banana, cloves, pepper, bread, some alcohol. Moderately bitter and sweet. Thick bodied with light crispness. I expect that this will age well.

Pours a nice hazy golden color, foamy off white head. The aroma is nice with hints fruit and grain. To the palate, you pick up more of the tart fruit with a malt backbone. Finishes nicely with more tartness.

Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a hazy apricot color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was chalky, tart and bready with notes of orange and pear. The flavor was dryish, tart and chalky with orange, pear, bread and must. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body under a one finger fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin ring. The nose is heavy on the sweetness with a lot of Belgian yeast derived fruitiness and a moderate alcohol note. The flavor is pretty sweet as well, but itís not horrible. Some light fruitiness and light-caramel notes, minimal yeastiness. Sort of a nondescript beer, noting really stands out as unique, itís just sweet and alcoholic. Medium bodied with just a slight clinginess and a fizzy pinpoint carbonation. Meh, not a beer Iíd purchase a second time around.

This is a lot closer to a Belgian tripel, but still a superlative beer. Buttery sweet and smooth, hazy golden with initial high head. Slick mouthfeel, interesting finish.

Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Belgian yeast and rock candy on the nose. Sweet malt, rock candy, and Belgiain yeast with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation, really solid beer

Light amber colored body, medium sized off-white head, sparse lacing. Buttery biscuit, caramel, yeasty esters, pear. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, a bit sweet, muddled finish.

Bottle from Caponeís. Pours hazy gold with off-white head. Nose was fruity, hopcitrus, with funky yeasty and floral spicy notes. Tastes hopcitric, very spicy and floral, wth hopcitrus, and a cloying finish.

From the bottle. Aroma of play-do, bubble gum, and slight banana clove. Pours blonde with a medium head. Tastes of light banana, clove and a bready dough. Pretty solid blonde. I was expecting worse.
