Impression: Visually astounding - fiery, deep brown edges, orange, yellow, pale, clear with thick white head. Nice aroma, flowery, sweet, and deep. It’s in the air. Visually carbonated, and crisp. Lacing is amazing. Head holds on. A very nice beer with a long bitter aftertaste.

Overall: 18 out of 20. I liked the flavor, the visuals, the aroma, the texture, and the bitterness, though, in the grand scheme of things, there are many beers just like it, and many just a bit better.

Jul 8, 2008 Purchased on draught at the ballpark. The beer was a light amber, with a decent head on it and good carbonation. Just an awesome hop aroma from this beer, with some really rich citrusy hop notes. Flavor is just all hops, without extreme bitterness, and very little malt character to this beer. I really enjoyed this the whole way to the last drop. Great job, Yards.

Jul 7, 2008 Poured an amber yellowish color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy and floral. Flavor was pretty malty for an IPA but with a bitter floral finish.

Jun 22, 2008 6.17.08 Bottle. Nice color and great floral pine hop aromas. Hops not as prominent in the flavor however. Even so, a decent brew.

Jun 15, 2008 Poured with a nice dark golden color and fluffy white head. This was too malty sweet for an IPA. Not sure where the hops were. Yards in currently in transition and this was contracted out so perhaps that’s why this wasn’t quite what I expected in terms of matching to style. Sampled at Stoudts 17th Annual Microfest: June 2008
